Our Story

Our story begins in 2022 when Calin launched his first venture, an online art store.

2022

In late 2022, Calin was concerned about the vast landscape of problems we as humanity faced. After seeing this and thinking about it for many years, he finally comes to the conclusion that only money, engagement, and power have the potential of solving our big problems, so Calin begins planning.

In December 2022, he began working on his first business idea, a website selling digital art.

2023

After six months of hard work and gathering knowledge and experience, he quickly gave up because he didn't know how to do marketing.

In July 2023, Oancea's next venture was in place: Nature Magazine, a newsletter talking about news in the climate and nature space.

Although this was a great idea, it didn't last more than four months, so a week later, his biggest project jet was born: Nature and Sustainability, a gardening and plant blog that would later house hundreds of articles with thousands of monthly readers.

2024

Oancea Media was born. Calin's one-year-old hobby became more and more a profession as he invested more time in it. He continued growing his blog and gathering vital knowledge in the marketing and content creation space. In summer 2024, additional smaller projects and websites with the same model were created.

In this intense year, he also started doing small side projects like building a dropshipping store with the intent to gather more knowledge. In one of his side projects, he started working with manufacturers in Italy and Germany to develop the company's first own clothing and merchandise, which is now Oancea Clothing.

2025

Oancea Group is born.

The company begins hiring more and more freelancers and experts to help with the growth and operations. Calin starts thinking geographically and the transition from an international team to an actual team in a European city begins.
